Kristen confirms her role in ‘Snow White’ in a new interview and turns down 'Superman'

Ntcclub.com: Kristen Stewart has finally revealed some of her plans following Breaking Dawn, and it looks like she will be appearing in Snow White and the Huntsman! In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Kristen was asked about rumors she would be playing the fair-skinned fairytale character and said she was “almost positive” she would be taking the part!

As for rumors she was up for the role of Lois Lane in the new Superman, her Breaking Dawn director Bill Condon seem to confirm these — and say she turned down the role! Bill tells the mag, “I heard this great story about Kristen that I think sums it up.
She was pitched a female role in a comic-book super-hero movie that’s about to get started — I won’t say which one — and she was like
, ‘Well, screw that. I shouldn’t be the superhero’s girlfriend, I should be the superhero.’” Good for her!
If it is indeed the role of Lois, and it sounds like it, the producers were lucky enough to snag another hugely talented actress — Amy Adams!

What Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner left behind

Has life become boring in Squamish, B.C., now that the Twilight stars have left? As we reported in a previous post, fans from all the way back east flocked to the town to catch a glimpse of their favourite star, and now that everyone has dispersed, has Squamish turned back into a sleepy town?

"Same old, same old," said Liz from McDonald's. "We've always been pretty popular because of our location."

Okay.

What about Booster Juice? Has the presence of the actors helped with sales? After all, it was Boo Boo Stewart's (Seth Clearwater in Twilight) favourite juice store, and he'd often go there to quench his thirst.

"Maybe a little bit," said Heidi, the manager. "It was a bit of a hindrance at times having them here." People would wait outside and hover and they would make it difficult for other customers to get into the store, she added.

But it was nice having them here, and good for the exposure.

Sorry, Twifans.

But surely our celebrities changed things for Pepe and Gringo, a local restaurant? The Twilight stars were spotted eating there on various occasions, and fans had seen them ordering out.

"They came here a lot," a restaurant representative said.

"It was a great boost for us."

Kristen on the 'Breaking Dawn' baby decision: 'I'm so on Bella's Side'

Bella-Edward-Breakfast

Sara Vilkomerson at Insidemovies: We won’t get a chance to see Breaking Dawn until it’s in theaters in November, but in this week’s issue of Entertainment Weekly we got a first look at some of the action, as well as hearing from The Twilight Saga‘s cast and stars (warning: spoilers ahead!).

On one of the most anticipated scenes described in the final book — the birth of Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Bella’s (Kristen Stewart) baby, Renesmee — Kristen Stewart says, “This could really happen to anyone my age. I mean, maybe not the whole vampire thing, but everything else. It didn’t feel like, ‘Oh, how could you have possibly played this? It’s so beyond your years!’ It’s like, ‘Not really, dude. I could get f—ing get pregnant tomorrow.”

Stewart also defends her character’s choice to keep the baby, even though it threatened Bella’s life. “I’m so on Bella’s side,” she says. “The idea of destroying something they made together that could never happen again…. It has nothing to do with the pro-life thing. I just love the idea of her fighting.
She’s been willing to die for so much, but now you actually see her, well, literally die for it

EW Interview

Fans have waited years to see Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward (Robert Pattinson) tie the knot, and the wedding scene, scheduled for the end of production on The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, proved to be equally climactic for those involved. “It was one of the coolest things that I’ve done,” says Stewart. “There was a certain point when I walked on set, and I saw everyone from the entire cast sitting there in the pews, about to do their bit. And it was just so perfect for me in that moment. It was so emotional in such a real way. I literally felt like thanking them for coming.”

But filming wasn’t always quite so idyllic. As the stars and director tell EW, Breaking Dawn Part 1 and 2 (in theaters November 18 and November 2012) involved a grueling, globe-trotting shoot, and scenes far darker, bloodier, and more polarizing than any in the franchise so far. If audiences haven’t matured with the Twilight books, they’re about to grow up fast. “We shot everything — whether it’s the lovemaking or the childbirth — as potent and powerful as it can be,” says director Bill Condon, who knew he was working within the constraints of a PG-13 rating. “It will be interesting to see whether there will be people who think it too disturbing for this universe.”

For her part, Stewart wishes the movie could have been even truer to the graphic nature of the book — not so much the honeymoon sequence (“It feels like a real love scene, not necessarily vampire-y, which is good”), but the brutal birth of the baby, Renesmee. “It’s funny because when [the PG-13 issue] comes up, everybody thinks it’s all about the sex,” she says. “The birth is really effective, and I’ve heard it really hits you in the face. But what it could have been? It could have been shocking and grotesque, because that’s how it was written in the book.” She sighs: “I would have loved to have been puking up blood.”

Highlights from ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY’s May 6, 2011 issue(on newsstands nationwide Friday, April 29)

New York, NY – Breaking Dawn The Twilight Saga starts drawing to a close this fall with Breaking Dawn Part 1. Entertainment Weekly has an exclusive look at the filming of Stephanie Meyer’s most gothic and controversial novel. Shooting Breaking Dawn Part 1 and 2 simultaneously involved filming round the clock for nearly six months at locations as far-flung as Baton Rouge, Vancouver, Rio de Janeiro, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The fact that the novel is so troubling and gothic – the saga’s finale is divisive even among Twihards – could only have added to the strangeness of the enterprise.

“When I read the book I asked myself, How is this going to be a movie?” says Taylor Lautner, 19, who plays Jacob.

Everyone said if felt totally different than anything we’ve done before,” says Kristen Stewart, 21, who plays Bella. “Just the fact that I’m sitting there pregnant – it’s like, wow, are we really doing a Twilight movie?!

Robert Pattinson agrees, fumbling for words to describe the plot. “It’s very, very, very strange,” says the actor, 24. “There’s just…it goes…there’s definitely, um, some interesting and weird stuff going on.”

Screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg says of the novel: “It is very much a departure. The first three books are about the love triangle, and coming of age in terms of relationships and romance. Breaking Dawn is really an adult story. Adds director Bill Condon, who knew he was working within the constraints of PG-13 – “We shot everything – whether it’s the lovemaking or the childbirth…It will be interesting to see whether there will be people who think it too disturbing for this universe.”

For her part, Stewart wishes the movie could have been even truer to the graphic nature of the book. “In some ways it was disappointing not to be able to really go there,” she says. Asked if she ever imagined what an R-rated version of the film might look like, Stewart laughs and says, “We imagined it every single day.” To be clear, it’s not the honeymoon scene that Stewart wishes were more graphic but the brutal birth of the baby, Renesmee. “It’s funny because when [the PG-13 issue] comes up, everybody thinks it’s all about the sex,” she says. “The birth is really effective, and I’ve heard it really hits you in the face. But what it could have been? It could have been shocking and grotesque, because that’s how it was written in the book.” She sighs: “I would have loved to have been puking up blood.” As for Pattinson, he says, “I like the honeymoon scenes because it’s such a massive turnaround in Edward and Bella’s relationship.”

Bella’s pregnancy is controversial for other, trickier reasons as well. “It was an issue because I’m very pro-choice,” says Rosenberg. “But the truth is, Twilight is not the arena to be having the abortion debate. My approach to it is that having a child is a choice. More than a political issue, it’s about Bella’s reasoning, and articulating that was the challenge.”

After filming so many scenes of terror and blood, more than one member of the Breaking Dawn team says they liked shooting the wedding best. “I never would have thought I’d be affected in this way, but it was one of the coolest things that I’ve done,” says Stewart. “There was a certain point when I walked on set, and I saw everyone from the entire cast sitting there in the pews, about to do their bit. And it was just so perfect for me in that moment. It was so emotional in such a real way. I literally felt like thanking them for coming.” For Lautner, Jacob and Bella’s bittersweet dance during the reception appears to have been as poignant as…a wedding. “It didn’t help that the scene itself was so emotional,” he says. “I knew it was going to be tough on the last day – and it was tough.”

Now that Breaking Dawn has wrapped, the cast can go their separate ways. The stars have clearly become close over the years, and not just Stewart and Pattinson. Pattinson, in a lovely bit of understatement, says this about his costars: “Having to spend so much time with people…it’s just nice when you like them. There is a real bond. I think also there’s something humbling about wearing the makeup and contacts.” He laughs. “Except Taylor – he doesn’t have to do a thing. He’s managed [to do] no work on this last one. He’s always a wolf!” Pattinson laughs again, anticipating Breaking Dawn 2. “But he has to fall in love with a baby…. Oh, God, I can’t wait to see how that goes.” When Lautner is told of Pattinson’s ribbing, he says, “Oh my gosh. That sounds like him…And I’m like, ‘I’m the one in the freezing rain and cold not wearing a shirt! I paid my dues in New Moon and Eclipse.’”

Director Condon says he’s among the many looking forward to seeing where the actors’ careers will take them. “Rob was the biggest surprise to me – just getting to know him,” he says, noting that out of the three, Pattinson is the least like the character he plays. “You spend time with him and you think, God, I hope you get to play this incredibly smart, funny guy that you are. Taylor is just a complete natural, a born entertainer. And Kristen,” he laughs, “she’s just hugely talented…I think she’s one of those people who will not fit into some kind of niche, but mold a career around who she is.”

Stewart is happy the filming is over, she adds, but mostly because she knows they’ve done it right. “I really am so satisfied with the entire experience this time around,” she says. “I really feel like we went through something, and it was captured. Who the f--- knows how it will turn out, but that’s how it felt. We ended on such a high note, and that was the whole point of this one – to reach a state of exuberance.”

10 Hot Chick Flick Kisses: Twilight's Bella Swan

Romantic comedies, melodramas and tearjerkers are filled with unforgettable kisses, but these ten hot chick flick kisses are some of the most passionate and iconic on-screen kisses ever to come out of Hollywood. Unlike female characters in chick flicks of the earlier 20th century, that swooned for their men, the women in these films often initiate the action and confidently express their sexuality. These ten hot chick flick kisses feature strong and sexy women that are much more than objects of lust and desire.

#10: “Twilight” “Bella” (Kristen Stewart) persists that her vampire boyfriend Edward (Robert Pattinson) change her into a vampire. As they dance in a surreal, glowing gazebo, he prepares to bite her neck, and in so doing take her life and soul. At the last second, he fakes her out and kisses her instead. This is a classic hot chick flick moment.

Kristen's ‘Breaking Dawn’ Nude Scene — Will She Go Topless?

Hollywoodlife: The actress wears very little while filming in St. Thomas and is spotted with the back to her bikini undone — is she going bare?

Breaking Dawn may be a family friendly film, but it appears star Kristen Stewart is set to show quite a bit of skin in the upcoming flick. Kristen and costar Robert Pattinson were spotted filming their passionate honeymoon scenes in St. Thomas over the weekend and Kristen was in a VERY tiny green bikini — the same color as a green screen!

Green screens in films allow for special effects and, in some instances, can be used to make an actor appear more bare than they actually are. It appears Kristen and Rob’s romantic late night swim may be a skinny dip in the film, and that the green bikini will be used to make Kristen appear to be topless!

Robert and Kristen Adopt Dog -- What Did They Name It?

Brad Bechler at celebs.gather.com: Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart adopted a dog while filming "Breaking Dawn" in Louisiana. If the rumor about their romance is still unclear, a new pet together seals the bond between the "Twilight" co-stars.

In an effort to let the cat, ehem, dog out of the bag, RPatz and KStew teamed up and rescued a "'German shepherdy-mix' pup."

Of all the names in the world, the Hollywood couple gave him the handle of "Bear." Surely, it's a man thing, and KStew fell for it.

Here's where you should pause and grab a box of tissue; it's a tear-jerker.

According to Celebuzz, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart adopted the dog after it was found in a trash can outside a bar.

The "Water For Elephants" star and his gal pal were not the ones who actually found "Bear"; they adopted him from a shelter.

Can you imagine the headlines if RPatz and KStew found a dog in a trash dump after getting tanked together at a local watering hole?

After they adopted "Bear," Pattinson and Stewart took their furry friend along on trips, photoshoots, signings, and other publicity stops for their "Twilight" films.

It's definitely serious to have a new family member on deck for the storied couple. To keep the family in the loop, they introduced their adopted companion to their families to receive their blessings. How sweet, right?

RPatz said the biggest challenge in being a pet owner is potty-training.

"I was trying to potty-train him to go on the balcony of the hotel room... It was so windy in Vancouver, the door slammed in his face, and I was just like, nooo," he said during a recent interview.

Nicks Finds Affinity With Stewart's Twilight Character

Contactmusic: Rocker Stevie Nicks has become an unlikely fan of the Twilight franchise after identifying with the heartache suffered by Kristen Stewart's lonely character in the vampire movies.

The Fleetwood Mac star admits she has been hooked on the film adaptations of Stephenie Meyer's hit books ever since she saw 2009's The Twilight Saga: New Moon, and she feels an affinity with Bella Swan over her romance with vampire Edward Cullen, played by Robert Pattinson.

Nicks tells Harper's Bazaar magazine, "I saw New Moon when I was on tour with Fleetwood Mac. When Bella just sat there in the window, crying for months because she thought she'd never see him again...
"It's happened to me twice, when there was no explanation. It was just over."

Robert Sans Kristen at 'Water for Elephants' German Premiere

Robert Pattinson

Aceshowbiz: Robert Pattinson flew to Berlin, Germany to promote his latest film "Water for Elephants", attending a photo call in the afternoon and a premiere in the evening. At both occasions, the heartthrob was accompanied by co-star Christoph Waltz and director Francis Lawrence.

While he was supported by unconfirmed lover Kristen Stewart in the NYC premiere after-party, Robert was alone in Europe. He was fresh from re-shooting some honeymoon scenes for "The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn Part II" in the Caribbean earlier this week. Robert and Kristen reportedly flew back to Miami together but she did not follow him to Berlin where he's staying at the renowned Hotel de Rome.

After Germany, Robert is scheduled to visit France for the nation's premiere.

Robert and Kristen in St. Thomas Report

Theimproper: Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart flew to St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands to shoot more scenes for “Breaking Dawn” last weekend to create some new material for the last two parts of the “Twilight” drama.

Producers decided to shoot extra sex scenes to supplement an earlier shoot in Brazil.

Stewart and Pattinson were booked into the Ritz Carlton in St. Thomas, in a suite that reportedly cost around $500 a night. (watch photos of Ritz here)

In the shoot, which took place at night on Apr. 22, Kristen wore a neon-green bikini that barely clung to her body, while Rob went shirtless and also fully dressed.

“They were kissing and pawing at each other like they couldn’t resist,” one onlooker told US magazine.

“She wrapped her legs around him as they kissed,” another observer says.

Following the shoot, Rob and Kristen reportedly had a private dinner at the Ritz-Carlton’s Bleuwater eatery.

Otherwise, they stayed in “playing with their new puppy, watching TV and listening to music,” one pal told US.

Their off-screen romance has been widely rumored almost since the start of filming on the original “Twilight” movie.

But as shooting on the series winds down, Rob and Kristen have become more open about their relationship.
