"The ramp is, apparently, for the 80 or so horses involved. It looks a bit smooth and steep to me! Added some descriptions to pics."

"For four days filming on Marloes Sands at the end of September 2011, a ramp is being constructed onto the beach and "headquarters" are being set up in the field to the east of Sandy Lane. I won't be here for the days of the filming, but I've taken some pictures of the preparations."
"Apparently the sequence involves galloping towards a castle, which is to be on Gateholm Island. The castle will be added by the magic of CGI - when Merlin was filmed at the Deer Park they constructed Camelot around the coastguard hut, but the National Park wouldn't let them put anything in the ground - so it blew down!"
