People Magazine Best Dressed 2010

Kristen was recently included on People magazines ‘Best Dressed’ of 2010 winning ‘Best Metallic’ for her Dolce and Gabbana Tweed and Metallic Brocade Mini Dress she wore to the MTV Movie Awards 2010. Marias Note: Hey guys! Just an update on this week’s makeup Friday tutorial. Unfortunately my dentist appointment yesterday went worse than I’d hoped and I have another appointment on Monday morning. Therefore, this week’s tutorial will be uploaded and posted next Friday (24th September), and it will be the Rome Photocall for Eclipse. I’m so sorry about this and I hope you can forgive me for it. See you next week!

In another note i myself am moving this weekend so if there is any Kristen sightings or updates for the next week or so i may be a little slower on updating until i settle into my new home.

Makeup Fridays

Hey everyone! Before I start into the tutorial, I want to say a big “get well soon” to Kiki who has badly hurt her leg. Pop over to her twitter and give her encouraging messages here .

Today’s Makeup Tutorial will be the MTV Movie Awards 2010. I loved this look makeup wise. It must have been so warm in the middle of summer in L.A. and this fresh and minimal look was perfect and went very well with the black and gold of her dress. For the fashion break down, click here.

FACE

Usual drill for the face. I applied my foundation with a brush for better coverage and powder to reduce shine. Then using a medium brown (not applying too much) i highlighted my cheekbones.

 

EYES

Starting with eyebrows, i brush them out and add a natural colour but not too much colour. Just add colour where it’s needed on your brows. Then apply a clear mascara to the brows to keep them in place.

Next apply a primer potion and apply the colour "Chopper" to the eyelid with a fluffy brush. extend the colour only slightly past the crease. Apply to to the lower lid also in a thin – medium line. Next apply a medium brown colour to the eyelid only. Don’t make it too strong. Next apply the cream liner with a thin liner brush. Apply it in a medium – thick line and draw a  small flick at the end. then using the pencil liner, apply it lightly to the lower lid. Then smudge the top of the cream liner slightly. Next apply mascara and you’re done.

LIPS

For lips, just add clear or natural gloss, or lipstick .

It's been building up all day, I've been buzzing with excitement.

So Kristen and some of her Eclipse co stars attended the Movie Awards and boy was Twitter buzzing, i could barely keep up. First off i want to say congratulations to Kristen and co for all the awards they won, we knew they would do it. Kristen arrived later on compared to some of her Twilight co stars and chose to skip the red carpet and interviews and just take some pictures before going in. I want to say i am proud she held her head up high after the recent controversy surrounding her comments. It takes a brave girl to keep fighting on when the press are constantly feeding off you this is why i am a fan of this woman, she battles on when time gets tough.

Now onto the outfit.

WOW.


This is NOT i repeat NOT what i was expecting. I love that Kristen continues to surprise us. I loved the hair extensions, they looked so bouncy and flawless.

Kristen wore a Dolce and Gabbana Fall 2010 Collection Tweed and Metallic Brocade Mini Dress.She looked fantastic, it was mature yet short and sexy. I just loved it. The shoes were the only part of the outfit i was not happy with because i felt they didn't compliment the grays and gold in the outfit. The shoes in question are Vicini Cross Strapped Pumps. Thank you to cortni from coolspotters for sending me the link to the shoe default, much appreciated. To top the whole thing off and bring the badass Kristen wore a 4 fingered Jessica Robinson Infinity Ring. Her fantastic blue nail polish is by Chanel and i've included a default. This polish is priced around $25.

2009 MTV Movie Awards

Kristen wore this Yigal Azrouël Fall 2009 Taffeta Dress to the MTV movie award teamed with a simple pair of converse sneakers since she hurt her ankle during New Moon filming. She and Rob accepted awards and Kristen dropped her on stage, shes so adorable! She kept her accessories simple with just her Lorus RJ201AX9 Ladies Expandable Bracelet Watch in sight.
